Graduates from any Jackson County High School
Applicant must be a senior education major enrolled in any College or University in Ohio
Applicant must have a minimum G. P. A. of 2.5
Considered as primary criteria are:
Financial need
Scholastic achievement
Completed applications must be returned to a committee member by May 31 of the applicant’s junior year. It is expected that the recipient will attend the September luncheon meeting of the JCRTA. Date, hour, and location will be indicated in a letter sent to winning recipient.
Funds for the above scholarship are derived from membership dues or any projects specified for this purpose.
JCRTA is also establishing a Memorial Scholarship Fund with the thought that interest accumulated from a minimum of $10,000 investment would provide an additional scholarship. Contributions are being accepted for this fund at any time. Please give these designated contributions to the JCRTA treasurer.
